Eliot grew up in South Florida, immersed year-round in the yachting world. Beginning at age eight, she sailed competitively all over the world for many years.
She went on to be recruited to St. George’s School in Newport, RI, competing on their high school sailing team as a multi-year starter in 420s and FJs. Outside of high school, she competed extensively in the Laser and Club 420 circuits as a team member of multiple yacht club programs with numerous top five national finishes. Eliot was then recruited to attend the College of Charleston and joined one of the top collegiate sailing teams in the country. At C of C, she was a starter on the coed, women’s, and match race teams with multiple regatta wins and national titles. After her education, Eliot joined crews on multiple mega yachts working towards a bigger license to enable her own yacht management business in South Florida. She had three major locations: Miami, The Bahamas, and Charleston. Currently, she has combined her competitive sailing and yacht immersion with her involvement in nationally recognized yacht club programs. She has become the head coach of a team with multiple members on the USA national team. From racing to coaching to management, and engaging in the yacht sales brokerage business, her love of boats and the sea is a life-long passion. Eliot’s vast experience, knowledge, and energy provide clients with unmatched perspectives, service, and advice in all aspects of the yacht sales process.
